Welcome to Rowan Class' Page.

We are a class of 22 children, 17 Year 3's and 5 Year 2's.

We are taught by Mrs Lane every day except for Tuesdays when Mrs Birt teaches us.

Mrs Thomas and Mr Owen support our class every day and Mrs Goodwin supports our class on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

There has never been a Rowan class before and we are proud to be in the first Rowan class!

Here is our Summer B Newsletter to see what we are learning about this term.

We have enjoyed using foods to help us with fractions of shapes and amounts.

The children made some fantastic Kandinsky artworks at home. Thank you for your help parents!

The children dressed up as professionals they want to be when they are older for aspirations week!

The children loved visiting the Grotto and meeting Father Christmas today. They recieved a great book each.

We made gingerbread biscuits that we will be decorating to look like melting snowmen. Brilliant team work!

We had a great time at The Museum of Somerset on Wednesday for our topic trip this term! The children explored the castle and the artefacts. They also dressed up and created shields.

Mr Murphy helped us to plant saplings last week. They were kindly donated to our school. We planted them around the Forest School fence so that one day there will be a row of trees to replace the fence.

Our fantastic star of the week has the opportunity to take home Pooh the Explorer! We can't wait to hear about his adventures.

We have been learning and then writing our own Non Chronological Reports about Homes in the past. The children thought of actions to help them remember the information.

Rowan Class created some amazing homes for their topic homework this half term. We had lots of very creative ideas and different types of houses.
