Maple Year 4+ 5
Welcome to Maple Class.
Maple class is a Year 4 & 5 Class made of 18 Year 4 children and 13 Year 5 Children.
Mrs Bewes is the Class Teacher along with Miss Millwood who covers on a Tuesday. Maple class is supported by Mrs Goodwin on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and Mr Owen on Thursday and Friday.

Today in English the children were hot seating as expert Dragonlogists to talk about the Somerset Ridge back a rare form of local dragon that we are currently writing non-chronological reports about.

Another great day for Sports relief today this time meeting a GB gymnast and completing a circuits session.

Maple class were treated to some sunshine today while they practised their football skills with the Saints South West coaches.

Maple class have had an amazing afternoon with students from SPACE performing arts college- watching a workshop and devising their own stills about looking after our planet.

The children have thoroughly enjoyed using the Chromebooks to create PowerPoints and posters to describe Guatemala.
Spring science week
This week the Year 4s enjoyed learning all about the digestive system and teeth. They can identify the 4 different types of teeth and their functions. They also carried out an experiment using egg shell to estabish if acid is harmful to your teeth.
