Birch
Welcome to Birch Class 2017-18
We are a class of 30 year 3 children.
Our teacher is Miss Culverwell who is supported by the fantastic Mr Nelson and Mrs Holmes on a Monday and Friday afternoon.
Today in Birch Class we have started our new topic involving adding and subtracting money.
We started to look at the value of money, talked about what each coin represented and had a go at adding some together!
We have been extremely lucky in Birch Class as we have had a super exciting day today!
First, we were visited by Mr Tremain who taught us how to play tag rugby (we have some budding rugby players!), then we were able to plant some saplings with Mr Owen, Mr Murphy and Mrs Perring on the school field and FINALLY we were visited by Jacobs pet African snail called Flash!
Today in Birch Class we have been learning about magnetic forces... we even made paper clips dance through the table using magnets!
Birch Class have thoroughly enjoyed Careers Week!
Our first PE multiskills lesson with Mr Tremain today learning about invasion games!
Today we have been making 3D shapes out of different materials!
Birch Class running the Sports Relief mile with KS2!
