Welcome to Oak class.
We are a class of 8 Year 3 and 25 Year 4 children.
Our teacher is Miss Ayres and our teaching assistants are Mrs East and Mrs Perring.
Oak Class Newsletters
15th June - We visited Noah's Ark Zoo Farm. We had a fantastic day seeing lots of different animals and meeting some up close!
On Tuesday, some of our Year 4s played cricket at Somerset County Ground whilst other children enjoyed a sports tournament at school!
21.04.23 - For art today we explored different textures using rubbing. We really enjoyed this!
Oak class loved dressing up as a range of different book characters!
Oak class have been using chromebooks to research school trip information to use in our persuasive letters!
Oak Class have thoroughly enjoyed having Premier Sport in teaching us how to play catchball.
Monday 6th February - In Science, we are learning about states of matter and we created our own water cycle!
3rd February - We logged onto chromebooks and wrote up our English work on a Word doc!
Monday 9th January - Science - Today the children in year 4 were learning about states of matter and the particle properties of each state.
Christmas party!

Friday 25th November - In computing we have been learning how to program using scratch!
Monday 21st November - The Year 4's have been competing in a times table world cup!
Children in Need Day - 18th November 2022
We are learning about Hinduism and we have made some Diwali tealight holders out of clay! We really enjoyed making these.

Monday 26th September - WOW English day. Today we 'travelled' to lots of different countries and carried out different activities.
In science we are learning about 'Animals including humans' and this week we were looking at different types of teeth. We made some out of clay!
