Courageous advocacy

'Courageous advocacy' -  we instil in our pupils and  our school community  a greater awareness of the challenges others face,  in life and the role that they can play as individual advocates to support causes and make a difference.

We took part in Wear It Yellow for our local hospice. We raised £171!

Our school is linked with the Christian charity Mend The Gap- find out more at

Aurora in Pine Class has been fundraising for Somerset Sight.

As we were kindly donated some Christmas trees this year, we wanted to spread the joy by passing that gift of giving onwards. Our largest tree has made its way to a shelter for the homeless and some of our children thought it would be a lovely idea to send some handmade Christmas cards too! We have made over 120 cards!

William and Toby  have been making Christmas Santa hat decorations out of clay and selling them. Half the money raised will go to Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity. They have raised £435 A huge well done boys.

Rebecca wanted to fundraise for a cause that was close to her heart. She organised a cake sale for Cancer Research.
