All children deserve the care and support they need to have the best start in life. Children learn and develop at a faster rate from birth to five years old than at any other time in their lives, so their experiences in early years have a major impact on their future life chances. A secure, safe, and happy childhood is important in its own right. Within the EYFS at Norton Fitzwarren, we support children to grow together as part of our school family, creating a place where everyone feels they belong. As we learn and play, we build strong connections with our local community and take pride in being an active part of it. Through curiosity and exploration, we also discover our place in the wider world and learn how we are all connected.
