We have been busy watching our 5 class caterpillars grow over the last few weeks. After 2 weeks they became cysalides before hatching as butterflies. Today it was time to release our butterflies outside!

Pine class enjoyed their 'welly walk' around the school grounds to find out what different types of plant we have growing in our school. We all worked so well as a team and new to stay safe by avoiding stinging nettles.

The children really enjoyed their Victorian School trip to Allerford museum. They were able to explore a Victorian Classroom, dress in Victorian clothes and be given a Victorian style lesson!

Pine Class helped Polly find her lost Puffin for the start of their new topic in English, Polly's Puffin! The children asked the adults around school for help and also found some feathers which showed us where the puffin had been. We eventually found him in Mr Nelsons coat hood! Olly decided that it was best to tie the puffins wings so that he doesn't fly away again any time soon!
