Norton Fitzwarren Church School is a 'Real PE' School

Our Vision with Real PE is that every child will have a positive relationship with physical activity for life.

For PE to be positive and inclusive for all.

Real PE is an approach that develops essential behaviours, physical literacy and thinking skills for every child.

As well as curriculum Real PE, we support our children's sporting development in a number of other ways.

Every child at Norton Fitzwarren has access to swimming coaching as part of our curriculum PE. Our swimming teaching sessions take place at King's College, Taunton.

Keeping Active At Home

Physical activity and exercise can improve our health, make us feel better, give us more energy and reduce the risk of becoming unwell. In this time of increasing restrictions on our movement with Coronavirus, it is crucial we maintain levels of exercise (60 minutes a day is advised). Being active also releases natural endorphines which make us feel much happier.

There are many ways we can keep fit at home with no equipment. You Tube has a plethora of content - but please supervise your child whilst they are using this platform. Here are some links to try and home. Click, play, workout, enjoy....
