We are very lucky to benefit from working alongside our Parent and Family Support Advisor (PFSA), Rebecca Lucas Bird, who plays a key role in the school and in providing an effective early help service.
Rebecca works in partnership with families and the school in order to ensure children are supported in reaching their full potential and are able to gain maximum benefits from education. She offers advice and support covering a wide range of areas and can also put you in touch with other services too. Further information is below and Rebecca's contact information.
PFSAs can help families by advising and working with you on issues such as:
- Building a partnership between home and School
- Behaviour (in and out of school)
- Parenting Concerns
- Family Issues
- Emotional Lifestyles
- Healthy Eating
- Attendance at School
- Feeling Isolated
- Support for parents/carers who want to go back to work or education
PFSAs can also be available just to listen and support if you feel you need someone to talk to.
Rebecca can be contacted through school or on her mobile and can arrange to meet you in school or at home, or somewhere convenient for you to have chat and a coffee.
